CHRISTMAS 2010
It’s difficult to believe looking at these photos that we don’t live in a Christmas card but it is real! Don’t worry if you are thinking of driving, the roads are treated and cleared and nothing stops for the snow. So if you’d like to do something different and let someone else worry about the washing up come and join us for some winter fun!
Our bed and breakfast prices will be as follows:
Up to and including the night of December 23rd 2010 – our usual prices apply; so for a cosy en suite room and buffet breakfast the price is €28 per person per night.
For the nights of December 24th and December 25th the bed and ‘special breakfast’ price will be €35 per person per night to include our special breakfast on Christmas morning and Phill’s famous ‘full English’ on Boxing Day morning.
For the night of December 26th onwards, we revert to our normal prices of €28 per person per night.
You can see all the prices for the different rooms on our website ‘price list’ page if you want to check prices for self catering studio apartments or for a room for the children.
On Christmas Day we invite you to join us for our special Celebration Lunch. Starting at around 12 noon with Sekt (German champagne) and canapés before moving on to the main event of Roast Goose, Roast Turkey and all the trimmings including our home made Cranberry Sauce. Followed by the traditional English Christmas pudding (home made of course) or an alternative for those of you who (like me) hate the stuff! Then we move on to Kate’s special selection of cheeses, tea and coffee, chocolates and a glass of something to round the meal off!
Unfortunately we are not able to cater for any special diets over the Christmas period. Meals on other days can be arranged for you at one of the local restaurants.
The price is €65 per adult to include wine. If you are travelling with children they are very welcome and are charged at about half price depending on their age.
A quick calculation!
So for two adults arriving on Thursday December 23rd and sharing a double or twin en suite room, having Christmas lunch with us and leaving on Monday December 27th after breakfast the price would be:
€28 x 2 + €35 x 4 + €28 x 2 + €65 x 2 = €382
